Abogado - lawyer or attorney
Notario – Notary Public, this is the authorized professional type of attorney who has the public license to perform the different transactions in relation with buyin/selling properties or others. Consider that not all attorneys are necessarily notaries.
Bufete - law or attorney´s firm
Número de finca (folio number sometimes) - reference number under which a property is legally registered. Numerical sequence looks like #-######-###.
Hipoteca - mortage
Gravamen - lien
Anotación - encumbrance
Plazo – time term.
Comprador - buyer
Vendedor - seller
Honorarios - legal fees
Timbres - stamps
Impuestos - taxes
Permiso - permission
Municipalidad - municipality
